Open Question: Cop does not show up to traffic court?

I got a running a red light ticket in Bronx, NY in 11/2008. I reschedule the court date one time and the court reschedule two times. I went to court today and the police officer did not show up. Instead of dropping the ticket, the judge reschedule my court date again. I asked him why it wasn't being dropped and he said he has the right to reschedule. They put an A on the paper meaning the cop is sick or has a good excuse for not showing. I talked to the cashier and he said the ticket should have been dropped but the judge and clerk are both really nasty and incompetent. What can I legally do about this ticket.... Read More »
